Coral also known as MOONGA in Hindi. Most of corals are red, pink, white, and blue in color. Red coral is most valuable and has been used in jewellery for over thousands of years. Coral is related to MARS Planet.
Rituals for Wearing Coral gemstone
The coral should be wear on Tuesday. The stone should be set in such a way that it touches the skin. The metal used for setting the coral should be a mixture of copper and gold only.
Wearing methods of Coral Gemstone
The best time to wear a coral is one hour after sun rise or up till 11:00 am. Before wearing the coral it should be immersed in raw cow’s milk and should be washed with Ganga water if Ganga water is not available then water kept in copper pot can be used. After it is washed, the ring should be placed on a red cloth on which numerical MARS Yantra is drawn with red sandalwood paste. The Numerical Yantra is given below:

The Person who wants to wear the Coral can do the ritual himself. The yantra and the coral should be worshiped reciting the following MANTRA of MARS.
“OM BHAUM BHAUMAYE NAMAH OM”
The Mantra should recite 108 times and then the wearer should meditate on the gemstone as a symbol of MARS. After meditation the coral ring should be worn bon the ring Finger of the right hand.
After worship the Yantra should be wrapped in the red cloth on which the magically Yantra is drawn and kept in a temple.
In order to please the Planet the person should donate red cloth /masoor/jaggery to any beggar or can be given to pandit in a temple.
